As you already know by now, I only use vegan and cruelty free makeup products! But what you may not know is which makeup products are coming with me if I have to run out the door in a hurry before I have a chance to do my makeup! Keep reading to find out what must-haves are living in my makeup bag right now! This post also includes an EXCLUSIVE promo code for M.O.T.D. brushes!
Typically, I am not the kind of girl to carry a makeup bag with me. I may toss a setting powder and lipstick in my purse every now and again for touch-ups, but usually no more than just that. But for travel, or spending the night at a friend’s place, these are the beauty products that would be tagging along!’
Sonia Kashuk Satin Matte Foundation: This is the first drugstore foundation that I’ve used in a very long time. Once Leti (from xoLoveLeticia) confirmed this product was vegan and began raving about it, I knew I had to give it a shot. I am so glad I did! Let me know in the comments section below if you want me to post a full review later on.
E.L.F. Cosmetics Perfect Finish High Definition Powder: Although I prefer their Loose High Definition Powder, their pressed one is much more makeup bag friendly! E.L.F. is a great, affordable cruelty free makeup brand.
OFRA Cosmetics Illuminating Blush Stripes: This product is a holy grail. I got it in the Fall Vegan Cuts Makeup Box and immediately fell in love. It is hands down the best, affordable highlighter there is.
LunatiCK Cosmetic Labs Contour Book: I love this palette because it’s all-in-one, making it perfect for travel. The shades in this palette are perfect to use for not only contour, but blush and eyeshadow as well! This palette is super high quality. Check out my review here to learn more.
M.O.T.D. Brushes: Your makeup application is only as good as your brushes! M.O.T.D. offers super soft, professional quality brushes that are 100% vegan and cruelty free. How awesome is that? I love the sleek look of their brushes. The photo doesn’t show it very well, but these brushes are more rose gold than regular gold. What’s prettier than black and rose gold? Nothing! Their brushes range from $9.00 – $16.00, making them cheaper than professional brushes for the same quality. Once you get your hands on these brushes, I promise that it will be love at first swipe! How about we make that deal even better by giving you a promo code. 😉 Use promo code “CRUELTYFREEGODDESS” at check out for 10% off your order with FREE shipping of purchases $50+.
100 Percent Pure Black Tea Liquid Eyeliner: This is the only liquid eyeliner I will ever buy again. Not only is it vegan and cruelty free, but it’s all natural too, so you don’t have to worry about putting this product so close to your eyes. It’s super opaque and perfect in every way.
Pacifica Dream Big Mascara: If you have heard the buzz about this product, you probably already know how amazing it is! This mascara has an expanding/retracting wand to make it multi-purpose! Plus, the formula is 7-in-1! It’s a lash serum, provides instant length, it’s lash lifting, volumizing, conditioning, has rich color and a 2 in 1 Brush!
Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Powder Duo: I got this product at Ulta for half of during their big 21 day sale a while back. I was using eyeshadow to fill in my brows up until I got this product (no, I am not kidding). I love this product so much! It applies really nicely and blends out beautifully. I totally get why people are obsessed with ABH brow products!
Red Apple Lipstick in Audrey: This is my go-to lipstick for every day. It’s the perfect “your lips, but better” shade. It’s a lovely pink that would look flattering on anyone!
Lippy Girl Extra Virgin Lip Gloss: I am not a big fan of the typical, sticky feeling of lip gloss. This gloss doesn’t leave your lips feeling like that at all! It’s super moisturizing and adds the perfect about of shine to your pout! Definitely a must have for anyone, especially in the winter months.
