In celebration of the launch of flower alchemist, Katie Hess’ new book: Flowerevolution: Blooming into Your Full Potential with the Magic of Flowers, I was lucky enough to be selected to be part of a Flowerific Blog Ring! This ring is made up of 30+ bloggers, each of posting about a different flower mentioned in Flowerevolution, mine is Red Hibiscus!
Keep reading to learn more about the magic of Red Hibiscus and to see which blog is next in the ring.
Here is Lotus Wei’s description of my flower, Red Hibiscus:
Activate: Fresh perspective
Message: Hit the refresh button.
The Hibiscus flower is in the Mallow family, and this variety is also known as the “Chinese rose” or “Chinese hibiscus.” It comes in many colors, usually warm colors like yellow, orange, red and pink. It is beloved in gardening and landscaping for its bright colors and swirling shapes. If you’re drawn to the Red Hibiscus, you may have recently experienced a series of stressful events. You might feel exhausted by emotional stress, having had “one thing after another” occur. Hibiscus flower elixir helps us regain hope and experience relief after a string of stressful events. It brings in light at the end of the tunnel, supports us in recognizing how these situations contribute to our personal growth, and allows us to start anew with a fresh perspective.”
Each flower in this book has Lotus Wei products to go along with them. Many of the bloggers in this ring used a Flower Elixir that had their flower in it. Due to the honey in Lotus Wei’s flower elixir, I did not receive a flower elixir. Instead, to keep it vegan friendly, I tried out their anointing oil and mist in Inner Peace! Here is what I thought:
The Inner Peace anointing oil and mist are a wonderful pair! Using these products regularly can help dissolve stress and nervousness and bring you peace and contentment. Just the scent of these products alone bring me a wave of peace upon use. This product contains the essences of with arctic lupine, silk floss (this is a plant, not real silk), mountain laurel, hibiscus, and lotus, as well as gem essence emerald. The roll-on just needs to be applied to pulse points. They recommend 5 times a day, but I just do it when I feel I need it (when I’m stressed, before yoga class, after work, etc). For the spray, you can use it anywhere! I spray it on myself, my pillowcase, my clothes, etc. I feel this flower essence helps me get a more restful nights sleep and helps me relax after a long day of work! I would highly recommend this flower essence to anyone who needs to unwind and relax.

Disclosure: The products featured in this post were given to me as a gift to review. Regardless of this fact, this review is my own personal opinion. Please keep in mind that not all blogs in this ring have a focus on cruelty free or vegan products.
